Our Mission Statement
The Good Home’s guiding philosophy is that our clients come first. This principle is engrained in every member of the team, from Lisa down to the contractors and installers. To us, design is personal and we hope to build long-term relationships with our clients. We believe that design is a collaboration between the client and the designer, and Lisa prides herself on being able to really listen to her clients and connect with them on their vision for their space, even when they are not always sure how to articulate it. The Good Home is a single point of contact design firm and aims to make the process efficient, simple, and enjoyable for our clients.
Our Clients
Our clients tend to be a range of people looking to pull together either a room or multiple spaces, or redesign and renovate a whole house plan. They may not know where to begin or have the expertise to manage a project and create the finished design they desire. Lisa truly loves working with clients who are excited and engaged in the design process, but want to rely on the designer to manage the details necessary to run a smooth project. Many are busy families or couples that do not have the time or the desire to manage the process. They are looking for someone to work with that can manage the project from start to finish and see to every detail.
What We Offer
The Good Home has built an incredible team of talented local contractors and highly skilled tradespeople that work together on every project. This close team relationship affords the project to be handled smoothly, efficiently, and stress-free for the client from start to finish. The team includes contractors, plumbers, electricians, painters, cabinet makers, flooring installers and refinishers, tile and wallpaper installers, seamstresses, slipcover makers, and upholsterers. Our team allows us the ability to create a truly one of a kind custom home for our clients.

Renovation Services
This can be a very stressful process for most people. When you hire Lisa and The Good Home, we will ensure that every detail is handled from start to finish. The process begins with a flat-fee Initial Consult to discuss your goals, wish list, budget, and timing for the project. The design process follows with conceptual designs, renderings and samples presented, along with a comprehensive Cost Proposal. During the project itself, Lisa will act as Project Manager handling the day to day scheduling, process and on-site management of the project. This single point of contact process is stress free for the client as they do not have to deal with multiple contractors, vendors or suppliers. It alleviates the frustration and delays often incurred when trying to manage a project on your own and ends up being not only more efficient time-wise, but also more cost effective. The Good Home will handle everything from the conceptual to the final client reveal.
Full-Service Interior Design
Whether you are looking to redesign a single room, or an entire floor, we can help! The Good Home will handle everything from the conceptual and design phase including providing renderings, paint selections, furniture, flooring, lighting, fabrics, window treatments, wall coverings, and project management to the final install and reveal. This process begins with a flat-fee Initial Consult. During that initial consult we will discuss your ideas and goals for the space, what works for you and what does not, take photos and measurements and discuss your budget and the overall process and timeline.
